Since the assault on Lebanon, we have had a huge number of new people e-mailing and telephoning our organisation to get involved with our campaign - from organising benefit gigs to organising public meetings in their communities - in response we are calling a big activist meeting for everyone who wants to get involved in building a mass campaign against war and imperialism in the Middle East and beyond.

PROTEST THIS FRIDAY

Muslim communities across South Wales have called for simultaneous rallies in Cardiff (at City Hall), Swansea (at the Guildhall) & Newport (at John Frost Square) calling for an immediate ceasefire in the Middle East on Friday 11 August at 2.30 pm. They have especially asked for support from Stop the War Coalition, peace groups and non-Muslims to show that all communities are united, and for people to bring placards and banners.
