Making Waves are hosting a Speed Network Dating night at The Bar in Chorlton on the 22nd August. Starting at 7pm, the women involved will get 3 minutes each to swap business cards, bore the life out of one another, talk about the golden days of Britpop or otherwise perhaps meet the creative love of their life.

Hosted by Manchester's beautiful Troupe, the night promises high jinx for low input - namely, just turning up and enjoying the fun. There will be complimentary drinks (and perhaps a buffet, but don't quote me on this - we're in the process of trying to sort that out) and the event will continue after the networking has finished, hopefully allowing the laydee creative types to make some new friends, contacts or enemies.

The whole event is free - to RSVP please e-mail  sarah@creativewomen.org.uk
