Marks and Spencer are Britain's biggest corporate sponsor of Israel and Zionism. So on the 29th July and 5th August, pickets of Marks and Spencers in Manchester were held, in support of the Palestinians and Lebanese who are being murdered by the racist Israeli state.

Saturday 29 July's picket of M&S in Manchester was a resounding success.

Around 150-200 people protesting, chanting, singing and waving Palestinian, Lebanese, Iraqi and Hizbullah flags, and making Market Street rumble with revolutionary noise, cutting through the mind-numbing silence of shopping while people are dying!

Despite one protester being hit on the head by a particularly obnoxious Zionist at the beginning, with the police doing nothing about it, eventually the Zionists were cordoned off and we could get on with our protest. The best bit was when the large crowd decided to 'boycott' the Zionist 'counter-protest' by turning their backs on them and facing the public, leaving the Zionists (numbering around 30) quiet and bewildered!

The following Saturday, the picket returned, with around 50 to 80 people, coming in support of the people of Palestine and Lebanon. For the first time in the last 2 years, the zionist counter demonstration failed to turn up. Dispite this the police did their job for them, by illegally issues Section 14,(Public Order Act, 1986) on the Hizbullah Flag.

Dispite the polices actions, this did not put people off, who continuted to protest, chat, and make it clear of what we thing of Israel's War Crimes in Palestine and Lebanon!

No to British support for Israeli terror!
No to racist Labour's support for Israeli war crimes!
Victory to the Intifada!
