Peace Camp Now At Prestwick

Slarti | 06.08.2006 05:57 | Anti-militarism

A Peace Camp has been established outside Prestwick Airport.

This follows reports of at least four Atlas Air planes and one USAF cargo plane being present at Prestwick last night. (It was Atlas Air planes en route to Israel recently that sparked the recent controversy over the use of UK airports to arm Israel. They also take military cargo out to US troops in Iraq.)

They'd appreciate support --- call 07966 649370

We occupied a space in the main car park with tents and banners for over 10 hours before calling it a day to support another action. A full report with pics will follow in next few days.

Spook Plant

Think Atlas are general mercenary aviation company, maybe wrong, ask CAAT

Couple of flights were diverted to Mildenhall, Suffolk, something for English people to protest about.
Always good to see our beloved MOD happy to pick up the pieces
