AUSTRALIA: New South Wales Police Commissioner Ken Moron has admitted officers who slept with students at the Goulburn Police Academy between 2000 and 2005 should have been sacked.

But keeping them on is a matter of justice over integrity? Even if they are perpetrators they'll still be promoting the governments main aims?

Last week Commissioner Moron confirmed seven perpetrators had been transferred from their teaching positions following more than 40 complaints about sexual harassment and misconduct at the academy.

The New South Wales Ombudsman, Bruce Barbour, says allegations of improper conduct against officers at the academy were properly investigated.

What he didn't say is that they were most likely investigated by the police themselves, who are the perpetrators friends. After all that's what friends are for?

Do you do it?

But he says commanders failed to take action despite serious misconduct, including threatening students with failure if sexual favours were not provided.

One of their kind?

Mr Barbour says one senior constable exposed himself and sent inappropriate emails and pictures of his genitals to female recruits mobile phones, but police ignored requests to have him sacked and merely transferred him.

"I do not believe that in many of these cases that management action has been taken," Mr Barbour said.

"Where you have a consistent pattern of inappropriate, predatory behaviour, where an officer is misconducting himself with other officers, then that person doesn't deserve to remain in New South Wales Police."

Yes but what Mr Barbour fails to acknowledge is that there are more police perpetrators than not in the 'force'. So perhaps these people feel right at home in the 'force' and most likely don't agree with him.

Police are protected and can do no wrong. Perpetrating police are tops didn't you know that Mr Barbour?

Commissioner Moron says the officers involved are still working and he admits they should have been sacked.

But he likes them? So will perpetrators do a better job on the beat?

Moron: "My understanding is that yes, those officers are still working in New South Wales Police," he said.

"Can I revisit those penalties? No.

So lets just wait until they perpetrate again, hey Uncle Pervy?

"There are accepted industrial principles in this state which do not allow me to revisit a penalty however inappropriate in hindsight I believe that the penalty may be."

Regardless of accepted ethical standards?

The Commissioner says he will approach the Police Minister, Carl Scallywag, about retrospective legislation to make the penalties harsher.

However, he says he doubts such laws are possible.

And so does the rest of the community with a police 'force' run by a moron!

So the next time police perpetrate against you or your kids just thank Uncle pervy for the 'Force'!

The Moron Commissioner says he will look into whether there is any way to legally review the penalties given to 23 perpetrators who he says should have been sacked.
