Upcoming events, meetings and actions from Manchester NO2ID. Feel free to join us at any of these. Apologies for the short notice for tomorrow's flyering.
If you can't make any of these events (or even if you can), please sign up to the Manchester NO2ID e-mail list at http://www.no2id.net/mailman/listinfo/no2id.manchester - it's low traffic and will help keep you informed as to what's going on.

Wednesday 26th July, 5:30pm - Oxford Road Station Flyering
The second event in our Fortnightly Flyering schedule will see us at Oxford Road Station, giving commuters something to read on the way home. Our last flyering at Piccadilly saw us get through 200 flyers in half an hour, before we ran out! This time we'll be better prepared.
This is a great way to come along and get involved with Manchester NO2ID; it only takes an hour, on your way home from work, though we normally head off for drinks and conversation afterwards. We'll meet at the bottom of the station approach and you'll be provided with flyers; look for the NO2ID T-shirts (and if you want to buy one to wear, drop Dave an e-mail on manchester@no2id.net ).
Wednesday 9th August, 5:30pm - Victoria Station Flyering
As above, we'll be flyering at Manchester's third mainline station, for an hour or so.
Saturday 12th August, 12:30pm - Salford Day of ID Register Opposition
We'll be spending a Saturday afternoon raising awareness in Salford. Due to the logistics involved, we won't be running a stall or bringing Manchester Defy-ID's Ministry of Truth with us on this occasion. Instead we'll be splitting into groups of two or three people and targetting the entrances to Salford's shopping centre.
We'll be meeting at 12:30pm at Salford's Broadwalk Library for a 1pm start. Again, look for NO2ID T-shirts.
Wednesday 16th August, 7:30pm - Manchester NO2ID Meeting
The next Manchester NO2ID meeting will be in Room 3 of the Friends Meeting House on Mount Street, on the far side of the library from St. Peter's Square. This venue is accessible to wheelchair users. At the meeting, we will discuss the progress of the Manchester NO2ID campaign and future events we can undertake to spread the word. You can see our previous minutes at http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/regions/manchester/2006/07/345975.html and an agenda for the meeting should be published in advance.
Everyone is welcome to this meeting, which will conclude by 9pm.
Wednesday 23rd August, 5:30pm - Piccadilly Station Flyering
The Fortnightly Flyering campaign will return to Manchester Piccadilly Station for an hour at 5:30pm, raising awareness of the National Identity Register to commuters.
