1984 Screening @ Everything 4 Everyone

E4e | 24.07.2006 14:13 | Free Spaces | Repression | Social Struggles | London

This weeks E4e cinema screening at Everything4Everyone (also know as Dalston theatre), will be 1984, the film adapatation of the classic George Orwell novel.

This coming Tuesday (25/7) at 7.30pm there will be a screening of 1984, the film adapatation of George Orwell's classic book, which is an unnerving and stunningly accurate foresight of present day life. Just like the book the film is twisted, beautiful and brilliantly told.

Every Tuesday the E4e Cinema screens different cultural films from around the world, showing and telling the everyday stories of individuals and communities. Celebrating the different cultures and customs, these communities have, while often highlighting the ways in which thay overcome the challenges they can sometimes face against their own very existence.

When possible there are also whole info nights that take place with films, documentaries, speakers and talk about the issues raised in the films. If you would like to host an info night, on a particular isuue, please get involved with making it happen. Also, if you know any good films that you think should be shown please do the same!

There is also guerrilla cinema screenings of documentaries on
sundays, outside in the open air, after food not bombs.

Hopefully see you on Tuesday! If you come early there is a Samba drumming workshop from 5pm, every Tuesday at Everything4Everyone.
