Israeli Military Tactics and Objectives in Lebanon

Marcus Aurelius | 21.07.2006 23:52 | Lebanon War 2006 | Analysis | Anti-militarism

Don't be fooled by 'Kidnapped Soldiers' and 'Rockets raining down on Israel'. That is all a smoke screen for a crime, a robbery in fact. Unforunately a few thousand people will have to die first. But the US/UK think its worth it. Please read on.

Whatever is said by the mainstream media when there is a conflict seems to be nothing more than shallow, half-baked, ill-informed propoganda, at times it's laughable - if only it was not so serious.

Most people have the impression that The Lebanon is in a state of terror because some soldiers have been kidnapped and some missiles fired. Utter nonsense!

Tactics devloped, and used, in Iraq by the US are now being actively persued in the current attack on Lebanon. But why is Israel attcking, why are they doing what they are doing? It makes no sense if you read or watch the news.

There is an objective to be reached for Israel. There will be a 'Mission Acomplished' moment. The US 'Mission' in Iraq was, of course, stealing the oil fields. But what is Israels Mission?

The media portray the current attack as a reaction to outside events (kidnappings and rockets etc.), but, more importantly, they also create the impression that the Israeli cabinet and military are muddling along.

This is to hide the fact they do indeed have a plan. And they know how much of Lebanon they are going to take. Here's the routine:-

Air attack phase.
-----------------------
1. Destroy transport system - Roads, bridges, airports, fuel supplies and impose naval blockade.

2. Demoralise the population - cut of water and electricty. Attack all large road vehicles (ambulances ok to attack). Bomb residential buildings.

3. Anhialate all military opposition - In this case Hezbollah, Lebanese Army and Police.

3. Drop leaflets from an airplanes - Tell people to leave the area you are about to attack, this gets you out of the Geneva convention and when later questioned about high civilian casualties you can point out you gave plenty of warning time. There is not much fuel and the roads are dangerous places to be. There are no bridges left. Civilians will be hiding in their houses.

Land Attack Phase
--------------------------
1. Shoot anyone on site - Anyone, even a child, seen moving in the attack zone is to be killed. Failure to do so is a disciplinary offence.

2. If fire is returned call in air support for 'shake and bake'. This is a barometric bomb (shake) to destory buildings followed by a phosphorus bomb (bake) to set fire to anyone let alive. Tried and tested in Fallujah. Massive civilian casualties.

3. Secure strategic objective - THE RIVER LITANI. This is one of Lebanons main water supplies. Once Israel dominates all of the land up to the river (and every one is dead) it will stop advancing. They will call it a 'security buffer zone' but it's really stealing Lebanons water.

4. MISSION ACOMPLISHED.

Quote:
"Contrary to Israel's dire water situation, Lebanon enjoys an abundance of water, with a per capita supply five times larger than Israel's. Its climate provides enough rainfall to make it independent of water from the Jordan River Basin. Even though it has the right to draw water from any river running through its territory, Lebanon could avoid reducing Israel's supply by tapping into other sources such as the Litani River, which flows into the Mediterranean. Lebanon will have to rebuild without an important natrual resource. This is a gross crime. It is happening with the full knowledge of most of the worlds governments plus the UN.

There is no risk of this escelating outside the region. Syria and Iran may suffer some air attacks from the US but whats a few terroists really going to do?

It is a classic deception ploy - convince everyone its WW3, and while they're looking the other way steal what you want.

The world is phukt up because people are brainwashed or 'too busy' to find out whats going on in their own countries let alone in anyone elses.

Democray has now been superceded, I guess we have to get used to it. What else can you do?

THIS IS 1984.
