We all know the BBC is strictly impartial! How do we know that? Because that's what they keep saying on the telly! But in reality most are not 'journalists' but warmongering propagandists. The BBC the last 2 decades has given just 2% to broadcasting anti-war dissent! They have shown to be worse than FOX, CNN etc

FPF - Amsterdam/Beirut - July 21, 2006 - After having followed the factual stream of information coming out of Lebanon and other parts of the Middle East, and comparing the facts to the broadcasts and information given by the major mainstream media, like the BBC and other war advocating networks, I can NOT understand why any sane person - now in Lebanon for instance - would ever collaborate with those despicable jerks and dish-bitches. They sell wars, and are megaphones of those making the wars. They help to destroy your life and your country as 'embedded' parts of the war machine which is wrecking our globe.
I HAVE NEVER LET DOWN A 'REAL' COLLEAGUE, but those vile creatures are no 'journalist colleagues' one way or the other. They are all liars and Judases that cowardly have sold themselves to the highest bidder. And don't tell me they don't know what they are doing or guilty of. I've for years been elected as Chairman of the Foreign Press Association in Sweden, the FPA with its 150 international correspondent/members, and recognize a Judas using journalism as a cover. They are traitors to us all, and dangerous to mankind. Get their names and check via Internet what they say and write, who they are: not what they claim to be.
Depending on that information - not what they tell you - let them stay or throw them out.

For the past 4 decades I've been an independent foreign correspondent, including 10 years in North Africa and the Middle East. And, what I daily can see and hear on for instance the BBC channels, CNN, FOX, EuroNews, the French, the very bad German channels ARD, WDR, ZDF, and the disgusting Dutch 'NOS' propaganda TV and radio, is purely a falsification of reality. - (Yes, I know the languages) - It is too bad to be true. Stalin would have been proud of this totalitarian falsifying and rewriting of history. National Geopgraphic and Discovery channel for instance - which can be seen all over the world - are sewers of war propaganda. They all lie through their whitened teeth, and without exception mouth the Israeli war message, which is: More through Murder. According to international law and conventions, what they are doing is the same criminal collaboration for which Nazi propagandists after the World War II Tribunals in Nuremberg were hanged.
Most of the interested people by now know that the BBC two decades ago openly started servicing the greedy goals and power of the 'managers' in England: building their false empire at any cost to us others and defending that their 'Might makes Right'. They are the real war criminals, pulling at the strings behind the scene, who put their 'front men' within the media organizations, including - at the top of the BBC - their man Michael Grade. - [

Fueled and serviced by the global media machine the 'London War Lords' own. NATO and so called UN 'Peace troops' are part of it, serving the malignant masters of misery. I've said it before - and I should know - because I've worked for the BBC too in English and German when they still knew what journalism was, and one could broadcast 'live'. Also during the Gulf War. No need denying it: I still have the BBC paychecks. So, as a senior foreign correspondent I recognize what they do, and it is absolutely hair raising and disgusting to hear and watch. Especially if you - like me - have been in Lebanon too. Those 'messmedia' slaves advocate the American/Israeli 'might makes right' militarism: an ideology which claims that the military is the foundation of a society's (Homeland?) security, and thereby claims to be its most important aspect. The militarization of society is defined in relative relation to others, and hence views the society as a material entity, which exerts its influence and power over others.* - So much for the intentions of the PNAC, which has - as expected - turned into a "Project for a New American Cemetery''.
ANY HUMAN BEING WITH DECENCY CAN NOT ACCEPT WHAT THEY ARE DOING.
If I, my family, friends or my country is attacked, and so many people killed by those madmen with their mercenaries, I would never ever help those BBC, FOX, CNN and all the other propagandists - who defend the necessity of us being killed - for one second. On the contrary: I would start resisting, and one of the first things I would tell them is to leave the country immediately with their murder advocating reporting, for 90% justifying death and destruction. And they'd better be glad that nothing worse would be happening to them.
THE BBC HAS BROADCASTED JUST TWO PER CENT (2%) ANTI-WAR DISSENT
There is no follower more faithful of the American/Israeli/British war agenda than the BBC, under the PNAC leadership of the BBC's boss and PNAC 'front man' Michael Grady.
A CARDIFF UNIVERSITY STUDY FOUND NO EVIDENCE THAT THE BBC WAS ANYTHING BUT PRO-WAR.
A comprehensive 'Media Tenor' survey of coverage of the illegal Iraq war by the world's 'leading broadcasters' - found that the BBC had given just two (2) per cent to demonstrations or anti-war dissent - less than even American broadcasters like CNN or FOX. A Cardiff University study found no evidence that the BBC was anything but pro-war. Historically, the BBC has always supported the establishment's wars by declaring the status quo (war) neutral and dissent "biased". Propaganda made respectable dominates the very language and tone of news and current affairs.
They shame journalism, and helped killing most of a valuable profession. Journalists - in the real sense - are independent watchdogs of society and those self professed so called 'rulers', in a positive way working for their fellow human beings. And not like the situation has grown into, slaving and distorting for the shareholders and war makers of the military industrial complex, which keeps destroying so much of our world.
None of those brain dead BBC war propagandists cried out loud for all the death and destruction globally going on. Nobody at the BBC, or the other parroting prompter pimps, talks about who is financing and making a profit on all the misery. Look at 'Sir' David Frost, this jester at the Court of the 'London War Lords'. Frost is also supposed to 'cover up' the war garbage for al Jazeera's 'new owners'. No tears were - or are - shed for the millions of dead, bombed, DU radiated, tortured, jailed, and otherwise abused people. And Afghanistan, Iraq or Lebanon? Trying to take the power and controlling the energy sources in Eurasia? It's all part of their program. Power and profit are the only bottom lines that count. In their system and way of acting, 99% of us human beings in the world are 'Kleenexers': to be used and thrown away.
The information from Lebanon by the BBC and many others, is fabricated using the same lying technique as usual, which also was used in France when the BBC had to report on the massive resistance to the new slave labor laws. Around three million people demonstrated against the new inhuman labor laws, but that apparently was a figure too impressive to be mentioned by most mainstream traitors, and 'underreported' as always. With the further dilapidating BBC being as usual one of the worst examples in falsifying the facts.

I do absolutely not see any reason why anybody in the world should keep somebody around who attacks you with 98% of what they are saying. Take a grip, or get a body bag.

Sorry to be flippant, your case is sound. But the corporate and government news media are a symptom of the problem, not the problem itself. The problem is the status quo. Change that and the rest will follow (easier said than done I realise).

Some time back, there was a minor scandal because it was revealed that MI5 had an office in BBC London, for the purposes of ensuring that all major employees of the BBC met with secret service satisfaction. I guess the story was news because some had assumed that the secret services had to operate a little less blatantly.
The news service of the BBC has always been the centre of secret service interest. Those who have watched the recent Hollywood movie "Goodnight and Goodluck" will have seen that increasingly during the 50's onward, the power of individual domestic journalists was able to grow to a point where it was hard to prevent them from following their own agenda. The journalist as media personality rose above the simple concept of corporate policy.
However, here in the UK, it is the so-called news-broadcast that has remained king, and the cult of the individual news journalist has no significance. While individual 'news readers' may become very famous, these people are no more than the faces and voices given to the words and thoughts of others.
Today, every word that the BBC prepares to broadcast as news is examined first by 'news editors' in MI5. The advantage of computer network technology allows the computers of internal BBC 'journalists' to connect to a network accessible to both internal managers, and managers within MI5. All vunerability and uncertainty has been removed from the system. The old way involved news editors employed because they could be trusted to take regular 'instruction', and act on it. The new system allows Blair's people to have a second by second editorial control. What many of you fail to realise is that the journalists that create the initial stories have ALWAYS has their work overviewed before publication, for a myriad of reasons, usually for legal, policy, quality, space, grammer, spelling, etc issues.
Thus, when the government is able to become the highest news editor, changing reports on the fly, individual journalists at the BBC claim to see no difference.
So the BBC news rooms now electronically connect to secret service facilities, not for the old reason of monitoring, but for the new possibility of real-time editorial control. Such control extends to the moment of broadcast, not then for ordinary news-broadcasts, but to allow 'difficult' discussions and interviews to be terminated in real time.
More traditional is the fact that BBC foreign correspondents work for MI5/MI6 (I use the 'expected' names for our secret services, but understand the names are irrelevant, it is the functions of these departments you should think about). Now, the nature of foreign correspondent work gives much greater power to the individual journalists. However, these people work where the BBC puts them, and they are instructed daily how to stay 'on message'. Sometimes, the work of BBC foreign based journalists becomes directly murderous, as was seen with bombing of the Serbian TV station, after BBC people had flagged that the building was free of foreign correspondents and could therefore be exterminated. No warning was given to the low level staff that the BBC journalists had seen on their frequent visits. They were just murdered out of hand.
Like the ITN (which includes Ch4 News), the BBC creates a vast array of news propaganda. It has the disgusting for children 'newsround'. The even more vile children and young people targetting Radio One news broadcasts. Then there is the 'regular' news, more 'indepth' news like 'newsnight', and the various current affairs and analysis/discussion shows. Each of these programs has a very different audience composition, and adjusts its propaganda content accordingly.
Propaganda is not a perfect art. The greatest attention is given to that which is most easily controlled, or that which gets the greatest audience. Two main methods:
-use of language
-choice of story (headline control)
Most of you stay extremely naive about the first. You are convinced of your ability to extract raw facts, regardless of the verbal carrier, but you are WRONG. How something is said is FAR MORE IMPORTANT than the actual fact of what is being said. Propaganda works because people have an emotional response that is vastly more significant than their logical thinking. At school, logical things (like science and maths) are taught in an non-emotional environment. In the real world, this almost never happens.
Headline control is obvious. Most people do not seek out news, but are passive receivers (even though most people in the UK are taught to have a news 'addiction', especially when compared to their cousins in the States). 'Bad' news 'hurts' people, so there is only a limited amount of such detail that peole will listen to. This 'quota' concept is ripe for manipulation. The BBC fills this quota with the 'right' kind of 'bad' news, leaving the viewer unwilling to hear any more for that moment.
Of course, the internet has mixed things up quite a lot. Blair's sheep are increasingly likely to hear from a friend, relation, or work aquaintance, news information that has no contemporary existence in either their newspapers or TV programs. Even stranger, such stories often turn up much later in the mainstream press, either when the news managers have figured a safe 'spin' (a way to 'safely' present such information to minimise its harm to Blair), or when Blair's people fear that it is becoming too obvious to the sheep that the mainstream media hides stories.
As the mass media used by the sheep increasing responds (albeit as late as possible) to these 'external' news issues, even the stupidest sheep starts to get the impression that something is up. The 'war' on sites like this is partly how Blair and his people attempt to respond. The other Blair option is to extend mass media control to 'alternative' news outlets on the net. Unfortunately for Blair, the problem with this approach is that it fits badly with the idea of 'mass media'. Propaganda control of the masses is a very different thing from propaganda control of 'special-interest' groups.
Sadly, active net politics in the English speaking West is mostly extreme-right-wing politics. Go look at the political sites of all varieties (including blogs) that get the most members/hits. The EXTREME RIGHT (which include Blair and Hillary Clinton-style politics) dwarfs the liberal, anti-war left. However, at a time of growing aggressive war, this is to be expected.
The mass media doesn't have to be in the hands of genocidal maniacs like Blair. But, with us allowing Blair to remain in power, despite his history of depraved crimes against humanity, and with his promise to plunge the world into another world war, we should be unsuprised that Blair is ruthless in his use of available tools.
Our so-called system of 'checks-and-balances' was the 'two party system'. The two party system is NOT the simple existence of Labour and Conservatives, or Republicans and Democrats. It is the understanding that these two parties will first and foremost dedicate themselves to the total defeat of the other, on the understanding that the people, long-term, back the two parties 50-50.
The two party system is deactivated, when the leader of one party becomes in reality the leader of both. Thus, in the UK, there are ***NO*** powerful Conservatives who do not think that Blair is the best leader they have ever had. In the US, Hillary Clinton is set to become the same for powerful Republicans, as the leader of the US during the next World War (and like Merkel, a perfect servant of Blair).
Today, every major news organisation propagandises on behalf of aggressive war. Blair ensures that the early wars serve the evil blood lusts of Israel and its supporters, because these self-same people own or control the vast majority of the mass media in the West.
For those of you that ask why Israel chooses NOT to live in peace with its neighbours, understand this. Although Israel could have peace tomorrow if it so chose, there remains a greater problem. The state of Israel was created by the use of crimes evey bit as evil as those used by the Nazis. These crimes remain unpunished ONLY while the 'tribe' of Israel remains the dominant minority in Europe and N. America. However, at the moment, the power of muslims in these same lands grows daily, while the power of jews stays static. In numbers alone, the muslims have a massive demographic advantage. Soon muslim influence will exceed jewish influence.
What happens then? The state of Israel loses its 'special' status. The neigbours of Israel are given weapons to defend themselves effectively against Israel. Israel is held accountable for every crime against humanity that it so happily carried out against helpless Humans. A small evil criminal nation cannot afford to lose the support of those nations that protect it.
Their obvious answer? Cull the muslims. Exterminate the muslims in their homelands, and in doing so, make it impossible for the muslim communities within Europe and N. America. If the strategy sounds familiar, it is because it is the exact same one that Hitler used against the jews.
The war propagandists in the BBC, Fox, CNN etc etc work on behalf of this genocidal plan. For them, the thinking is simple. 'Hutu' vs 'Tutsi', with all the machetes and media coverage in their hands, so that the slaughter can be completed as perfectly as possible.
Human History is largely the history of 'tribal' warfare, driven by the reality that even if whole populations are put to the sword, the winning tribe can soon breed a whole new group of replacement humans. While the Elite are happy to allow us rules of morality that cause individuals to successfully live with each other, the Elite have no desire to be restricted by such rules themselves. Thus, looking at the slaughter of the innocent in Lebanon, and asking what has happened to the rule of law, and human decency, misses the real truth. Such concepts do not exist for the Elite, only power. However, THEIR power derives from US. If we withdraw even our passive support from any given elite, that elite ceases to exist by definition.
THEREFORE, THE ONE SINGLE PURPOSE OF THE MASS MEDIA IS TO ENSURE THAT THE RULING ELITE CONTINUES TO RECEIVE ENOUGH ACTIVE OR PASSIVE SUPPORT FROM WE, THE PEOPLE. What place does truth have in this mission? Absolutely none.
