Liverpool Friends of Palestine & Merseyside Stop the War Coalition are organising this vigil to highlight the dreadful events now taking place in Palestine & Lebanon.

In Palestine, 1.3 million Palestinians are being subjected to collective punishment and ethnic cleansing. Water, food and electricity are being denied and villages are being bombed. The Zionist Israeli state openly talks of destroying Lebanon and turning the clock back twenty years. What country in the world could get away with such disgusting language & actions other than Israel?

So please, please do your best to come along and show your solidarity against this gross and unacceptable injustice.
