The situation in the Middle East is escalating into a dangerous international crisis. In response to the capture of one of their soldiers the Israeli Government have:
• Deprived civilian populations of water and electricity
• Traumatised the Palestinian people by flying
sound-barrier shattering F16s low over urban areas
• Slaughtered civilians on their streets and in their homes
• Kidnapped and imprisoned democratically elected politicians
• Blockaded and bombed Lebanon.

This is a topic to which much of the 'International Community' is respondong, with calls for restraint from Russia, France and the EU saying Israel's response to the capture of two soldiers was disproportionate. This is something our goverment could genuinely be tipped over the edge on, and we must show how we feel.
