" The embassy quoted the London press as saying that Lord Levy had persuaded Blair to support the Geneva Accord, which had been worded by Levy's son Daniel Levy, who is Beilin's assistant. This diplomatic report provides additional evidence of how Jews, both inside and outside Israel, are weakening the Jewish state at a time when it is waging a difficult war. Lord Levy is a good friend of Blair's and has given him considerable aid in his political career. Both of them may well have acted in good faith. Ironically, Blair, who demanded Israel accept the road map, is aware how ready Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is to make concessions, especially if the PA were to fulfill the initial condition of the road map: dismantling the terror infrastructure and ceasing its attacks. Daniel Levy was an advisor in the Prime Minister's Office, a member of the official Israel negotiating team at the Oslo B and Taba talks, and the lead Israeli drafter of the Geneva Initiative.
Maybe someone should check his blog to see what he has to say about Daddy getting his collar lifted : Someone reposted one of his blogs on IM once, on the Harvard report on the Israel lobby : http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/2006/03/337278.html
the point of a solicitor is to ensure that a client has the best possible representation within the law. if lord levy is guilty, the idea is that he will be found guilty. why on earth would you want to boycott bindman's for just doing their job?
cherie booth (blair) works at law firm matrix chambers who produced an opinion which claimed the iraq war was illegal and supports the campaign to impeach blair - are you going to boycott them too, because of her association?
and how exactly do you boycott a solicitor? are you going to go out and get arrested especially, so that you can use another firm?
.....and besides, Bindman's Partnership helped the Exodus Collective in Luton against the repressive activities of the Bedfordshire Police in the 1990's, who tried to fit up collective members with drug possession and murder!! The cops failed!!!
As an addendum, in the 21st Century, spokesperson for Exodus, Glenn Jenkins, is still fighting the Beds Cops to expose a conspiracy against him and his family (there is clear evidence), particularly with regard to his mater who lost her publican's licence due to trumped up charges against her.
Glenn is also concerned about millions of pounds being squandered on consultants for a regeneration project on Marsh Farm in Luton. The Masons are involved along with corrupt Councillors - he could do with your help!
i had a very bad experience with bindmans the first time i was arrested and have avoided them ever since. they are good, i believe, for bigger cases post-arrest but for police station support i strongly recommend not using bindmans. the reason? well unlike some firms bindmans will not send you a solicitor when you are in the cell, unless you're on a major charge (eg terrorism). what you will get is a clerk. someone who has passed a short test in attending police stations but not trained as a solicitor. the clerk who attended me, after a double arrest for two counts of criminal damage related to an anti-homophobic action, was horrifically bad. not only appalling "interpersonal skills" (which do actually matter, especially when its your first arrest) but actually argued with me about my desire to no comment my interview despite that clearly being the best tactic (as backed up by three different solicitors later on). followed this up by telephoning my mother in the morning (i was in my mid-twenties and he knew her professionally) to tell her that i had not only been arrested, but been arrested on a dyke action! he know longer works there but i still will not ever call them when i am held in the police station i will always call andrew katzen, no matter which firm he works at, because i know i'll get a real solicitor if i need someone, not a clerk. so there! x
