Today in response to Hizbollah guerillas capturing 2 zionist soldiers the israeli army launched an invasion into South Lebanon accompanied by artillary bombardments and air attacks. According to reports civilians in Lebanon have been killed and roads and bridges near the port of tyre have been hit. Several israeli soldiers are reported to have been killed by Hezbollah guerilaas. Israeli prime minister ehud olmert has promised a massive response and has said that he holds Lebanon responsible for the soldiers capture.

IF Israel and the U.S. were about to attack Iran or Syria, would Israel keep all its military hardware in Israel (inside the Green Line), where it would be an easier target for counterattack, or would it find excuses to move its weapons into the occupied territories and Lebanon, where Palestinians and Muslims would be de facto human shields?
IF Israel and the U.S. were about to attack Iran or Syria, wouldn't the most strategic location for Israel's ground forces be in the occupied territories, adjacent to many Muslim countries that might be tempted to come to Iran's aid (Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia)?

Pssst - shaaba farms is former Syrian Territory. Captured from SYRIA as a result of THEIR aggression in the Six Day War...Hezbollah OCCUPIES southern Lebanon and has for some years now. Although Syria withdrew from their 30 year OCCUPATION of Lebanon, they support hezbollah as their surrogate army in Lebanon.

Why would I use pictures of predominately Arabs/Muslims. Could it be that A:) I sympathise with them and B:) I wanted to avoid looking like some bigot by only picturing dead civillians killed by "matyrs" or IDF?
I have no gripes with SELF defence. I have BIG gripes with targetting civllians (terrorism) whether they be Arab, Jewish, Britsh, Asian, American or Persian. Likewise, I take a very dim view of people who seem to think there is any glory in the Middle East situation and that it will be solved by the killing of Zionists... just as the Zionists believe that the eradication of Palestine is ultimately virtuous and excusable.
My point is that I think if you like to support shooting people with an AK-47 then you should regularly stare the REAL deal in the face instead of making stupid jokes about it.
In fact, I think if you care so much to support killing, you should peel your fat arse of your swivel chair and get yourself off to Gaza to do it yourself... or at least witness it first-hand then come back and be so glib about human suffering and carnage.

You have "gripes with targetting civllians" - so? Do you imagine that resistance to zionist aggression naturally involves killing civilians? Or that warfare can be fought like a game, where, despite the untrammeled aggression used against one side, the otherside stops for afternoon tea?

If I'm on cloud cuckooland for opposing the targetting of civillians, I guess that makes me a stooge for the Red Cross/Crescent and their dubious political agenda.
If you think that killing is a joke, it's you that's a kid here. Like, I said go there and witness it first hand and then see if it's still funny. And if you're going to talk the killing talk, walk the killing walk... and then come back here and crack jokes about it.
I rather think you'd probably like most people not have the guts and if you did would be traumatised for life by the experience.

Having missed every point addressed to you, I am begining to think that you have an agenda.
Perhaps you might consider re-reading the last few posts and imagine that you have the capacity to be wrong.
Beyond saying that I am supporting the targetting of civilians (why would someone make such a baseless assumption?), you seem to think you both more moral and older than me (at least mentaly). What nature of argument are these? Poor.
You have not analysed what has been put in front of you. There can be nothing further said until you do - if only because you have said very little inbetween your tirades.
