The Regeneration Game
Mike Lane | 11.07.2006 13:00 | Social Struggles | Liverpool
Greeting everyone,
I have made another film documentary on what’s going on in Liverpool concerning regeneration and a few other things. The documentary is called the “Regeneration Game” and is available at the well-known bookshop News From Nowhere in Bold Street.
This is a documentary that the councils on Merseyside don’t want you to see. Already I have been threatened by the council not to make public what is on this documentary.
The documentary covers
1. The truth behind the lack of community participation and democracy
2. The truth behind the lies of council stock transfers
3. Disturbing footage of how BBC Radio Merseyside chat show celebs and the media promote the agendas of central and local government
4. Interviews with homeowners who are fighting to stop the council from demolishing their homes
5. The truth behind the closure of the alternative shopping centre Quiggins and the despicable behaviour of senior Liverpool City Council officers
6. The lengths that the Liverpool City Council will go to stop freedom of speech and assembly
7. How loyal customers stopped the owner of Quiggins from being arrested
