Rhythms of Resistance Manchester will be holding a samba workshop on Sunday 9th July 2006. The workshop will include:
•Playing/learning samba rhythms (beginners especially welcome)
•Information stall on samba & activism.
•Make your own patch during the break to decorate your clothes!(bring material)
•Open discussion.

What is Rhythms of Resistance?
We are an activist anticapitalist transnational network, using samba as a form of political action. We use tactical frivolity, inspired by carnival, to confront and critic systems of dominations and directly support everybody struggling against exploitation, discrimination and oppression. We reject any false opposition between militancy and creative forms of resistance
