On one of the reasons of Brazil to have lost the cup of 1982

We are in the year of 1982. The Brazilian Selection of soccer seems to be unbeatable.

In Santa Martha, João Polino, one of the largest experts of the nobleman Breton sport of the south capixaba is apprehensive.

The first games were calm. The convincing victories made the whole Brazilian people to commemorate.

Less João Polino. This was distrusted and crestfallen.

They came Wednesdays of final. Argentina, as always our main rival would play against Italy.

Let us remember a thing. Italy had been second place in his/her group, with three ties: against Poland, Peru and Cameroon. He/she had been classified for having made a goal the more than the team camaronesa.

Argentina and Italy, whole Brazil twisting for Argentina, less João Polino.

Two to one for Italy and foguetório, now it was to catch Argentina and to leave with everything against Italy, later to run for the hug.

Brazil and Argentina were calm, three to one with right the olé and everything.

That the Italians come...

In that height of the championship, all eufóricos. João quiet Polino.

The bets came and, incredibly João Polino got right the bolão. Alone...

The three to two of Italy were, maybe, the largest zebra of the World cups, less for João.

Asked on because it had gotten right the scoreboard, against all of the forecasts, João Polino was categorical:

“I knew. Since the moment in that Telê summoned the selection I knew that won't give right.”

Curious, they asked the old soccer player which was the mistake of the summons.

João answered, of it beats ready:

“That stubborn of Telê didn't summon that boy.”

Ah. Really Reinaldo made a lot of necessary.

To the that João answered concluding the subject;

“That Reinaldo that anything, I am speaking about that boy, Zagalo!”
