New Labour Lose Again Its Heartland

Hedd Wyn | 30.06.2006 05:00 | World

The people of Blaenau Gwent in South Wals have again delivered a massive blow to New Labour when its candidates for the National Assembly and the House of Commons were both soundly defeated by "independents" at yesterday's by elections.

New Labour in South Wales got the pasting it deserved in Blaenau Gwent when it againlost its heartland seats .
Blaenau Gwent formerly represented by Nye Bevan and Michael Foot was one by two ex labour candidates who ran as "peoples voice"candidates.

Blair's New Reich party is not powerful because of popular support.

Blair's New Reich party has no ***active*** support of any significance from the population, but has more than enough passive support, and that is all that Blair requires.

Remember that Blair, the most powerful leader the UK has ever seen, was last elected by only around 20% of all allowed to vote. Blair keeps political power by using the massive resources available to him to manipulate the options seemingly available to the people. The Liberal, Conservative, Respect, BNP, and Green parties are all under the control of Blair loyalists, which allows Blair to ensure that the stategies of apparently competing bodies always serve the ultimate success of the New Reich party at any important election.

This control of the other parties is often VERY VERY crude, with Respect failing to stand in anything but a tiny number of seats, the Conservatives going to a general election with the worst possible visibly-extremist leader, and the Liberals refusing to take an anti-war position, and dropping all interest in proportional representation.

For Blair to control a would be competing party requires dedication, but in the scheme of things, very little money. Because of the way party politics works, a very small number of key people are usually all that is required to derail the opposition, although in the case of the Conservative party, Blair is seen by most important people at the top of that party as the most effective Conservative leader there has ever been.

Now at the bottom, as with the Blaenau Gwent elections, victory against Blair is always more than possible. By definition, one cannot infiltrate independents (as a movement). However, Blair simply has to work to disillusion so many of us that we really can't be bothered to take him on at a local level.

Blair no doubt blew any chance his New Reich stooge had of winning, when Blair was seen by everyone glorifying the racist terror that Israel is inflicted against the whole of the Palestinian people. This merely proves that Blair cares less than ever about what we all feel about him, because Blair knows that the options we have to do anything about this monster are about to be reduced to ZERO once he begins his genocide of Iran.

New Labour trounced in Labour Heartland.

Blaenau Gwent is a bit backward. But not that backward. They have not been a New Labour heartland. The dilemma now is elsewhere, The fascists now in control of the Labour Party need good convincing Socialists to stand in the heartland seats so those Fascists can retain their power.

Labour MPs who do not now come out and skwer Blair are not fit for office.
