Predictably YF failed to turn up to repossess "their" building

One lone activist holds out against the invaders

The energy seemed to have flowed out of the Matilda collective and the will to resist had gone. We were ordered to be out by 9 on Tuesday morning and like the polite people we are we invited Yorkshire forward down to accept possession of "their" building. The press turned up in anticipation of a bit of amusement but neither YF or their representatives nor the council who had also been invited, showed their faces. It was rather a sorry showing and the great project begun in the heat of G8 resistance rather fizzled out on a grey Tuesday morning.

Except for one lone activist who still held out against the invaders.

She's beautiful and I loved her. But sometimes you just have to let go....

The eviction made Page 2 of the Sheffield Star on Wednesday with a much better picture of the lone activist, complete with skull and cross bones up on the roof.
