The Khoodeelaar! campaign against Crossrail Bill has become significantly effective. This was seen in Westminster on Tuesday. MPs attending the Select committee on the CrossRail Bill in Room 5 of the Palace of Westminster, were shown the documentary evidence representative of the historic role played by Khoodeelaar in articulating and advocating the community’s opposition to the Crossrail Bill. Outside the Palace of Westminster on two separate occasions, security guards - or police officers [whoever were doing the checking] repeatedly taunted and abused Khoodeelaar! remembers as they passed through the check point to the Palace of Westminster. This evening,. Khoodeelaar! is demonstrating outside the Tower Hamlets Council town hall at 6 PM demanding the full Council to pass the No to CrossRail hole Bill motion which the community ahs been demanding. The Khoodeelaar! demonstration is also due to hear details of how the campaign against Crossrail organiser Muahmmad Haque has been barred by Tower Hamlets Council from making a factual presentation before the full meeting of the Council m being held at 7 30 PM tonight.
