Government is destroying Victorian properties in London too

09.06.2006 16:05

The Government is presently using a rail scheme, which will benefit the City, to destroy houses by tunnelling underneath them in area that has many underground wells making buildings susceptible to collapse from movement, settlement and vibration. Crossrail will also carry taxpayers large sums of money while helping developers exploit land opportunities. We are sorry to hear of the woes in Liverpool - we imagine that you are facing the same problems. We hope you can stop it.
