Operation Snafu

From two thousand and three to now three years of bloody conflict first with the Iraqi Army, then with the Fedihene; then with insurgents (every crackpot with a gun is heading for Iraq. Are we helping in Iraq or just causing more deaths, so in this writers eyes three years of war what has it gotten us in Iraq….the numbers to date…..

American KIA 2,500
American wounded 18,000
Iraqi KIA 40,000
Total allied forces KIA 2690
Civilian 332
Media 7

OIF, in the eyes of this writer is a complete failure, all we have done is cause a religious civil war; and a partisan war with the Allied Forces and the IDF (Iraqi Defense Force) a crew of three colleagues from CBS two KIA and one critical wounded. Mr. Bush says we have given the Iraqi People freedom, all I see is death for our soldiers and for the civilians in Iraq. We have not given these people freedom, only death; with each passing day…… we are losing too as the body count of our son’s and daughters climb with each days passing. The Bush leadership in this so called war on terror has been a walking Snafu from the beginning to the end.

Plato said and I quote

“Only the dead know the end of War”

They say hell is paved with good intentions, why? Is there a shortage of bad ones? We have failed in Iraq and no matter what spin the Bush and Blair governments put on it. Admiral Stark said and I quote “ Here’s everything I know about War, Somebody Wins, Somebody loses and nothing is ever the same” I myself see no-gains what so ever only a new Vietnam and with kids doing the dying and the Governments doing the lying. In every war we have been in there has been battle plans to get in and out not stay and die.

"Those who fail to learn history are doomed to repeat it; those who fail to learn history correctly -- why, they are simply doomed."

ACHEM DRO'HM
now we too have our own Mali Massacre, when you put seventeen and eighteen year old kids in the killing field of foreign country’s they are bound to screw up and make mistake leadership is knowing when to get the hell out of Dodge when you have lost, not put a spin on it or come up with something called the Patriot Act, to me it sound more like a Senator McCarthy witch hunt; NSA listening in on Americans he calls it prevention I call it moving to a police State.

There is a rumor going through the halls of congress and the Senate of nullifying the law of 1878, the Posse comatose act. The RNC has really stepped in the cow shit and they do not have the shoes for it. In Maine Olympia Snowe the senior senator is up for re-election if she wants to keep her seat in the Senate I would not have GWB stomping for me; actually if I were her I would jump ship and run as an independent. If I were her because being in the RNC will not assure her of victory in November.

Pelagius a monk in the pre-christen dark ages said to his student an adopted son Lucias Artourious Castes when he was but a boy before he left for Rome” The Worst of all deaths is the end of hope” closed quote. Mr. Bush has taken from 18,000 families of wounded soldiers scared both physically and emotionally who will never forget what they have seen, “for those who have seen war, will never stop hearing the screams of the Wounded and dying, for we were young and we were soldiers” Joe Galloway UPI 1965 closed quote all hope of a better future for their son’s and daughter wounded in this slaughter of War, he has taken away two thousand four hundred and something husbands, wives, brothers and sisters and cousins forever. In the state of the union you said and I quote “if we are not with you then we are with the terrorist” we are not with the terrorist, we however know when to fight a war and when not to. We don’t pick fights we finish them and because you wanted to pick a fight twenty five hundred families no longer have sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, fathers and mothers; and the same for those brave allied soldiers’ families.
