An urgent call out for people to go to Titnore Woods - NOW!
Protesters this morning set up a tree camp to try and halt the 900 home development.
But in the last hour landowner Clem Somerset, plus hired thugs, bailiffs and police have turned up - a violent eviction is clearly intended.
If you see this email, please pass it on to all others who may be interested - and get down there as soon as possible to act as a witness to a potential attack on peaceful protesters!
DIRECTIONS
Woodland just north of fishing lake, east of Titnore Lane, Durrington, Worthing.
Take footpath at end of Fulbeck Avenie, heading north.
Or - take lane to fishing lake off Titnore Lane (south of South Lodge). Turn north at fishing lake.

Just to tell everyone that the situation is not critical. apparently they are happily building the camp now. the police is/was there and people wanted to know what was going on.
So, we'll keep you posted if anything happens.
They do still need people down there to help build and stay there, so if you're interested, go down.
