9/11 and Homeland Security

The people who don't know the truth don't want to hear and those who do know are too afaraid to speak

The absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. This phrase taken from the context of archaeology somehow captures for me the dilemma surrounding calls for a reopening of the 9/11 inquiry. The point is that neither side in the debate seem to be able to provide irrefutable proof of the existence or absence of an insider job.

To cut a long story short my interest is focussed on two possible conspiracy theories. The evidence for these revolves not only on the cover up of the evidence by the state but on the existence of two absolute and literally concrete facts.

1]. The hole in the Pentagon was much too small for a plane to have disappeared into the Pentagon building without trace.

2]. The probability of the collapse not only of BOTH twin towers but of five other buildings surrounding them suggests foulplay – or at least arouses sufficient suspicion to warrant a further inquiry.

So this suggests either that there were no terrorists in the hijacked planes or that there was collusion in the lack of attempts to prevent a known attack. In both cases we face the painful question – what about the missing passengers? My answer is to suggest that if, and of course it all rests on this ‘IF’, there was a conspiracy and they were prepared to sacrifice those in the twin towers, then the explanation that passengers were ‘disappeared’ or were agents of the state in disguise, is not so implausible.

Then we arrive at the psychology of any possible explanation for the events. I personally am not particularly fascinated by the motives of those who might perpetrate such alleged crimes against humanity; more significant I feel is the method by which their despicable plans convince the vast majority of the population and thus further embolden those who, uniquely, have the evidence of the success of their actions.

‘IF’ we are being duped wholesale, then we should be prepared to stand up and be counted. Identity cards present such an opportunity; there is plenty to suggest that they are both ineffective and prone to corruption. Michael Meacher seems to be taking a role in exposing some of the lies peddled by the media whose concern is to preserve a status quo which remunerates their efforts. He is responsible for the forthcoming showing of the Loose Change film in the House of Commons.

I also came across an article yesterday by the well known Jazz Musician Gilad Atzmon about the London Bombings, which refers to a statement by Tony Blair from the G8 Summit and his bland assertion that we would defend our values against the mindless threat of terrorism. Atzmon points out that it is exactly this faceless characterisation of the enemy which is the hallmark of fascism. On that note, evidence of a police state structure being implemented in the USA on the grounds of ‘Homeland Security’ echoes my fears that the masses are being used as media fodder to advance the agendas of near-sighted opportunists, for instance in attempting to fast-track the planning process for nuclear new-build.
