"Human Ancestors May Have Interbred With Chimpanzees"

James Moylan | 18.05.2006 13:37 | Globalisation | Social Struggles

suddenly everything becomes clear!!

"Human Ancestors May Have Interbred With Chimpanzees"
Washington Post Thursday, May 18, 2006.

"According to the new theory, chimps and humans shared a common apelike ancestor much more recently than was thought. Furthermore, when the two emerging species split from each other, it was not a clean break."

Suddenly it all falls into place.....

Bestial as a compliment, humane as an insult

Jospeh Heller wrote a lovely apocalypse book called 'God Knows' where a sole surviving man ( King David ) fucks talking chimps. It is a book of metaphor whose bestiality is limitied but whose damnation of mankinds religious hypocritical aspirations is to the fore.
He also wrote the seminal 'Slaughter House Five' describing the firestorming of Dresden from his experiences as a prisoner of war there.

On the TV I was saw a female chimp masturbate in a compound. A male chimp who was watching from afar decided to run to her and masturbate her for her. Not every human would react the same way. Chimpanzees pose greater problems for religion than simply evolution. If we are the highest point of creation/evolution then why are we so murderous, evil and unrefined compared to other species ?

An interesting comment Danny but...

Slaughterhouse Five was written by one of my heroes - Kurt Vonnegut Jr.
All the rest of your comment was interesting and, to a degree, I agreed with what you had to say.
Thanks for taking an interest.

It's worse than that, the book I was describing is actually God's Grace by Bernard Malamud, who wrote the excellent The Fixer as well (which was turned into an excellent movie). A film of God's Grace would be like a pornographic Planet of the Apes.

My brain seems to have mixed up the works of every humanist Jewish author of the last century. I should really take up drinking again, at least drunkenness is a mask for stupidity.
