When I listened to Westwood’s show 10.3.06 he played Rick Ross’ song ‘Hustlin’ twice and after playing it the second time, stated

“just as we put crazy weight on ‘Soul Survivor’ (my notes: by Young Jeezy and Akon – Def Jam Records), then we put crazy weight on ‘Shottas’ (by Juelz Santana and Sizzla - Def Jam Records), crazy weight on ‘Gun Session’ (a remix of the above song ‘Soul Survivor’ featuring Vybes Kartel, Shabba Ranks and Sizzla), we’re putting crazy weight for all my hustlers!”

Rick Ross has a distribution deal with Def Jam Records. Def Jam Records is a part of Universal Music.

Westwood’s own website viewed on 12.3.06 has the Def Jam logo on the homepage:

www.timwestwood.com

Here is a link to the google cache:

It also says at the bottom of the homepage “© 2005 COPYRIGHT DEF JAM UK”.

Westwood in November 2005 released his ‘Greatest Hip Hop Of 2005 Album’ through Def Jam. To re-iterate, Westwood has released 10 compilation albums through Universal Music.
