I only ask as I couldn’t spot my local MP at the weekend Mela festival at the Weavers Fields off the Bethnal Green Road.

I wanted to know how many illegal immigrants from Bangladesh had been caught at the Mela, cos George had warned the world in the local paper that there would be masses of those and a whole heap of trouble!
