Statement from Nottingham Iraq/Iran Union Solidarity:
No to war – No to occupation – Down with Ahmedinejad
Support Iraqi workers to end the occupation
We, who opposed the war on Iraq and who call for an end to the occupation, demand that the anti-war movement recognises the importance of the developing workers movement in that country. We condemn without reservation the attacks on prominent trade unionists by both occupation forces and those elements whose agenda is to impose a repressive, authoritarian regime on the Iraqi people.
We recognize that a nation ‘liberated’ by authoritarian movements, be they clerical or Baathist, would leave Iraq an empty shell – ‘liberated’ from foreign occupation but ruled by a clerical-fascist dictatorship. This would be a mockery of self-determination.
We support an anti-occupation movement that does not jeopardize the demands and aspirations of the working class, of women and gays, of secularists, national minorities and democrats. In the workers movement of Iraq we see just such a force. They are a minority, but it is a militant democratic working class that holds the key to full self-determination for the Iraqi people.
Solidarity with Iranian workers and democrats -
No to interventionist war – Down with Ahmedinejad
Iran has a repressive, clerical regime and a militant workers and democratic movement. In December 2005 the government arrested several members of the ‘Syndicate of Workers of Tehran and Suburbs Bus Company’ following strikes over pay and conditions. Thousands of demonstrators gathered in Tehran on 2 January to call for their release. The regime has hit back by freezing bank accounts, stopping wages and initiating a crackdown on trade unionists.
At the same time we see the Iranian president, Ahmedinejad, asserting Iran’s regional power status by restarting nuclear programs. All this has led to thinly veiled threats of US action against the country.
We state now our opposition to both military attacks on Iran and the oppressive government. We condemn the attacks on the Iranian workers movement and offer solidarity to those within the country who seek to replace the existing regime by a mass, democratic action.
International Solidarity
The support of the international labour and anti-war movements is imperative to the continued development of the progressive forces described above. The leaders of the anti-war movement in Britain either ignore the Iraqi workers movement (or sometimes attack it!) or pick-and-choose who they promote. Their response to threats on Iran is to simply state their opposition to war without consideration of the forces at play. We ask trade union and anti-war activists to build practical solidarity with the workers movements of Iraq and Iran.
We call on you to sign this statement, affiliate to ‘Iraq Union Solidarity’, join local international solidarity initiatives and encourage others to do so.

Another attempt to gather support for Blair's WAR PLANS
15.05.2006 18:24
In reality, it is no more than you saw Goebbels and his colleagues arrange in nazi Germany, where the rule for nazi propagandists was BECOME THE OPPOSITION. The logical thinking is flawless- the ONLY way to guarantee that public opposition does not interfer with your plans is to ensure that you LEAD all visible opposition.
You will notice that this ANTI-IRAN article was posted under the name of ITN's latest dagger-piece, "Inside Iraq: A women's story". ITN is a 100% zionist organisation that produces the foulest of broadcast anti-muslim propaganda on its regular ITV news broadcasts. It also produces the entirety of Channel 4 News propaganda, and is following 'Inside Iraq: A women's story' with the dagger-piece against Animal Rights people, in co-ordination with a massive propaganda campaign against Amimal Rights in all of the UK's Mass Media across the last few days. I guess ITN must have been psychic with their "Mad about Animals", eh, to have produced it at such a convenient time.
The only solidarity this movement named in the above article has is with Blair's mass murder of 500,000+ people in Iraq (counted using the methods used to give the LOWER estimates of the numbers of victims of the nazis, and NOT counted with the methods used by so-called 'holocaust deniers' in German and Austrian prisons, and copied by IRAQ-BODY-COUNT) and with the coming genocide of millions in Iran.

TRANSLATED- Blair's Mass Media labels those fighting against the UK/US terrorists, and as a result of those labels WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SUPPORT THE HUMANS WHO ARE BRAVELY FIGHTING AND DYING IN AN ATTEMPT TO REMOVE BLAIR'S MONSTERS.

TRANSLATED- we support any anti-occupation movement that actually has ZERO chance of success against Blair. Any anti-occupation movement that is having sucess, we abuse using labels gathered from Blair's racist Mass Media.
THEN COMES THE ENDLESS BLAIR CREATED ANTI-IRAN PROPAGANDA. It's that bus workers strike again. I guess the UK should be attacked if we can find stories of the UK government abusing workers or unions here. What's that? there are thousands of such cases. Damn, I guess the UK government is on the verge of constant propaganda attacks over this issue- NOT!!!!!!
NO MENTION OF MASSIVE STOCKPILES OF NUCLEAR, GENETIC, AND CHEMICAL WEAPONS IN ISRAEL- what a surprise
NO MENTION OF THE DEMOCRATIC MECHANISMS IN IRAN THAT GIVE WOMEN THE SELF-SAME RIGHTS AS MEN, UNLIKE BLAIR'S FAVOURITE (gay and women abusing) MIDDLE-EAST NATION, SAUDI ARABIA- what a surprise.
NO MENTION THAT THE PEOPLE OF IRAN BY-AND-LARGE SUPPORT THEIR REGIME (if if this IS the tyranny of the masses)- what a surprise.
Instead, we have one of the most ***EVIL*** statements I have ever seen...

WAR IS THE GREATEST CRIMINAL ABUSER, THE GREATEST DESTROYER OF RIGHTS, THE GREATEST MURDERER OF HUMANS, AND THE GREATEST EXTERMINATOR OF CITIES. These psychopaths tell us we have no right to oppose Blair's genocide of Iran unless we have swallowed their propaganda?
Anyway, their co-ordination with Blair's programs of propaganda, especially ITN's dispatches garbage, tells you EVERYTHING you need to know about these people. They are a worthless combination of 'useful idiots" (yeah, that means very stupid), Blair's agents, and people very much in favour of Blair's wars in the Middle East, because of the riches they bring them and their families (every war creates dynasties that may continue to have power for many hundreds of years).
BLAIR'S GREATEST ENEMIES ARE THOSE THAT SIMPLY THINK "IT IS WRONG TO ATTACK IRAN". His access to the majority of our electronic communications allows him to weigh our numbers. His strategy is to create wave after wave of propaganda to make people doubt their fundamental moral position. Read that last evil, evil quote again. It states that you cannot be against murder unless you are aware of the forces at play. It states that you cannot be against rape unless you are aware of the forces at play. It states that you cannot be against child-abuse unless you are aware of the forces at play.
IN OTHER WORDS, THE MASTER SAYS "KEEP YOUR NOSE OUT, THESE THINGS DON'T CONCERN YOU". I'll make you a bet. NONE of those I described as 'useful idiots' from the above group could describe to you the voting system in Iran, and I'd bet the majority of them don't even know women have the vote in Iran. Those that most strongly oppose Blair's genocide of Iran DO best know the forces at play, even if they don't realise it.
Iranians want the ability to have normal family lives, just like the rest of us. For the vast majority of Iranians, just as with us, the government is nothing more than a distant inconvenience. Iranians want to get educated, get a job, have a family, have kids, and feel that life served some purpose, just like everyone else on this planet. If the wishes of Humans are so universally good, and constructive, why are we faced with such danger?
Evil can be defined as that which exploits Human weakness of any type in order to reduce the likelyhood that some, or many people, can fulfill their straightforward human destiny. If this group succeeds in assisting Blair in his warplans, evil will destroy millions of lives in just the first few weeks of Blair's attack.
I, and people like me, are Blair's ultimate enemy (which must make it VERY hard for certain people to allow some of my comments through- how they'd love to censor all of them, but then the extent of Blair's current control becomes way to obvious). We say, you are inherently moral, and inherently capable of calculating the purpose of Human existence, so return to that which has always been within you, and use that knowledge to inform your actions and decisions.
Blair and his people say, if you don't agree with us, you haven't swallowed enough of our propaganda, so you have NO RIGHT to an opinion. Blair and his people say, if you do agree with us, your opinion is sound, so express it loudly. Idiotic? Well it worked to Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and thousands of other monsters in our history.
I attack the methods of propaganda and psy-ops to give people the courage to fully reject them (otherwise self-doubt has people, ruthlessly conditioned this way by standard school-education, worried that their discomfort with current Mass Media content means that THEY are stupid, NOT that the Mass Media is using propaganda to control the opinion's of their audience).
It is strange to me that most fail to realise that Blair's most powerful weapons are the lies that people are prepared to say on his behalf. If you had the misfortune to live in the worst places in the World, you would soon learn that there are people prepared to MURDER you for less than a weeks wages. The financial benefits for those that mouth Blair's lies often runs to TENS OF MILLIONS. It doesn't take a genius to understand why Channel Four News can always find Iraqis that cheer Blair's invasion. It doesn't take a genius to understand why certain Iranians in the UK support actions that will maximise the probability of Blair getting his war with Iran. Most of these people are prepared to be traitors to the human race for sums of money small enough to shock you.
How many powerful people in the UK can trace their line back to the Norman invaders of Britain? How long do the benefits of war last certain families?
WAR IS COMING. First war with Iran, and then the general World War that is triggered by that attack, culminating in the War with China. Billions will die. If Blair has his way, the Human Race ends soon after. Even if Blair is only partially successful, nuclear and genetic weapons become a regular part of future wars fought on an ever more devasted planet. People allowed WW2 to happen because such a war hadn't happened in the past, and thus a lack of direct experience allowed the 'head in the sand' attitude called 'there is no such thing as a first time'. Blair has the same advantage. People CANNOT imagine a nuclear and genetic conflict, so they take no action to prevent one.
Who am I trying to convince? Nothing could stop WW2, and heaven only knows enough people tried. Blair's power grows daily. If the obstacles are too big for him today, well he knows that sooner or later, his power reaches the point where he can overcome ANY obstacle. US military thinks attacking Iran politically insane? Ordinary people think attacking Iran will put their own future in imminent risk? Hitler had the tools to handle this problem when Iran was called Poland, and Hitler's influence was a thousand times less than Blair's.
