BPP leader retires after electoral thrashing

The appalling Eddy Morrison, leader of the British People's Party, has announced his retirement from extreme right-wing politics after thirty-eight years of white nationalism and racism.
Morrison, a confirmed Hitlerite and long-time supporter of John Tyndall, stood in the local government elections yesterday in Bramley, Leeds, mustering up 135 votes (2.7%) despite conning an old lady into signing his nomination papers by pretending he was collecting signatures for a petition to save a local shopping centre.

'It will be interesting how many members the bpp will retain due there imitable split [about 3 ]'
Be fair - there's Steve Smith's dog too. It's a fully paid up member (and better looking than Smith).

a) He's completely incompetent and unreliable... good tout material, but hardly dependable to do the state's work, or anyone else's for that matter.
b) If his claims to have been assaulted by anti-fascists in Leeds are true, which is in itself debateable, then if he is a state asset, why did the cops not do anything about it?
c) If the BPP was set up to divide the BNP vote, then why would the state go to all that trouble, only to have the solitary BPP candidate being a hapless discredited egomaniac standing in a less-than-prominent ward? Anyone could see that the only Leeds ward where dividing the BNP vote was relevant was Morley South.
Okay then, here's another equally implausible conspiracy theory (which I don't believe for a second)... the BPP was established by the BNP - the small sacrifice (and 135 votes IS small) of losing one Leeds ward is compensated for by the fact the BNP can now point to obvious Hitler-fetishists like the BPP when accused of being fascist and say "we're just patriotic, that lot are the real fascists". Bingo, extra credibility to the BNP and it makes even more of a whipping boy out of JT's 'favourite' Morrison and his sorry handful of acolytes.
No, really what happened is Morrison & co founded one of the most laughable fascist groups we've seen in ages, made a series of disasterous blunders and u-turns and failed utterly, because they're just rubbish.
