How to get people to vote BNP

Progressive Contrarian | 05.05.2006 10:55 | Analysis | Anti-racism | Culture

Another example of how the liberal establishment drives people into the arms of the fascist BNP

Tell firemen in Barking that they can't fly the St George's cross during the world cup because it might offend ethnic minorities. Have any ethnic minorities complained? No. Has anyone other than the self-appointed guardians of multi-culturalism (i.e. the middle class liberal establishment), complained? No.

As a non-white Briton do I feel aggrieved when I see the St George's flag? No. Do any of my family or friends - of all ethnic groups - feel put out by the sight of the England flag? No.

I can't help but wonder how many of those firemen went out and voted for the 11 BNP councillors in Barking and Dagenham.

If I was a conspiracy theorist I'd be convinced that the Labour party and it's natural allies in local government are deliberately driving people to support fascism.

obvious

Sounds obvious, well it should be, but maybe people just don't want their area to have a large number of ethnic minorities in it? Maybe people actually like to live among their own, maybe they don't want to live in a multicultural society? It's pretty obvious. That's why the BNP got such a high number of votes.

4th party results

05.05.2006 22:06

these were the interesting results of the whole day (my local area didn't have elections, so no fun for me) how the 4th party results went: the BNP trouncing the rather wet Respect affiliates 2 to 1, imagine how they would have done if Ol' One Eye himself was on Big Brother, all Union Jack undies and trying to avoid big Dennis Rodman...

while obviously it's a good thing to do both, surely it's a better initial policy to build up Respect as a whipping boy that the BNP as a training ground for the New Reich's foot soldiers?

No it's not obvious

Sounds obvious, well it should be, but maybe the gentry people just don't want their new area to have a large number of poor ethnic minorities in it? Maybe people actually like to live among their own rich landed gentry, maybe they don't want to live in an egalitarian society? It's pretty obvious. That's why the BNP got such a high number of votes.
