Lib Dems BNP style canvassing

Picked up my (expected) load of clap from the political parties asking for my vote in Kensington Fields this morning and was disgusted to discover the Lib Dems using the released prisoners who should have been considered for deportation as a campaign issue.

Would they have done this if it was British prisoners who had served their time and were released? I would expect this from the BNP but this is reall sinking to new depths in Lib Dem Liverpool.

Everyone knows it is an issue but to use it in such a manner as they have panders only to racists in my book.

they're all the same - lib dem/ lab/ bnp/cons/green - all in it for themselves, nothing for the people.
The quicker people realise this, the better. Why is there a need for any form of elections?

It's not racist to expect that people who come to this country:

a) don't take advantage of our welfare provisions
b) integrate into society - otherwise why bother coming?
c) don't rape/steal

This applies to everyone from immigrants to British-born citizens. The left should stop being so gutless around these issues and worrying that they might sound 'right-wing'.

...when you couch it in language akin to the BNP it is wrong.

No one denies the issue is a real one that needs addressing but to infer things rather than simply say them reveals a reluctance to address the issue properly and a preference for appealing to base racist instincts.
