800 people on the Autonomous Bloc at Mayday London

This is just a quick report to let people know that we estimate the autonomous bloc (which was predominantly anarchist looking!) was around 800 people.

I counted 150 people at the start for the autonomous bloc at clerkenwell green.

a lot of people joined it after the start as not everyone was standing together before the march setting off.

more people joined along the route.

later on the march, the autonomous bloc was AT LEAST 300 to 400 people.

it's easy just stand there and count people - duh.

800? Thats when you include the cops right?

A realistic estimate is more around the 150 mark of people on the A bloc. Which spent its whole time right at the back of the demo, about 2 mins behind the rest of the marchers, completeley surrounded by police. Most people had no idea it was there, let alone what it was!

Looked pretty though (as long as you didnt get too close)

I saw people counting the autonomous block head by head. 800 is not exagerated.
