The Israeli Army arrests two residents from Qabatia village

Israeli troops invaded the village of Qabatia, south of the West Bank city of Hebron and arrested two brothers, Saturday morning.

Mahmod Khazima, 18, and his brother Mohamed, 17, were arrested when troops stormed their home then took them to unknown locations, eyewitnesses reported.

Soldiers searched then other houses in the village and performed on the spot interrogations of residents.

Girl arrested at Beit Iba checkpoint in Nablus

The Israeli soldiers stationed at the Beit Iba checkpoint in the West Bank city of Nablus arrested Fida' Daras, 22, Saturday afternoon.
Soldiers said that they arrested Daras because she is engaged to a wanted man from the city.

Settlers continue attacking residents in the Jordan valley

A group of settlers using a medium size van are setting traps to ambush and attack Palestinian residents' cars in the Jordan valley area, Saturday at dawn.

According to residents the settlers are attacking their cars with stones and bottles through night and into the early hours of the morning.

The Israeli police are also harassing Palestinian drivers and issuing traffic tickets unfairly, they are stopping some residents from entering their own villages and towns thus preventing them from returning to their homes, eyewitnesses reported.


Two residents arrested in HebronThe Israeli army arrested two residents and fined two in the the West Bank city of Hebron and the near by village of Yata, Saturday morning.

Ghassan Al Jonadi from Yata village was arrested whilst trying to cross a military checkpoint near the village, no reason for his arrest was given, the soldiers handcuffed and took him away, eyewitnesses reported.

Meanwhile Israeli forces arrested Waled Al Herbawi, 24, and fined his father and brother, for approaching the fence of the Kriat Arba settlement near the city, Al Hebawi's wife reported.

She added that the fine was 1000 NIS and said her husband was moved to Gush Atzion military bass for interrogation.
