It's life Jim, but not as we know it...

Squatting is alive and well in London and has been for a long while. In the UK there are around 800,000 empty properties and London has at least 100,000 of them. Most squats are residential, but there are also art squats, commercial squats, drugs dens, places kids hang out, places lovers meet etc...

Tonight at the rampART there is a special party at one of London's best known squats, the rampart, to celebrate squatting and to share information, news, views, history and more. There'll be all kinds of incidental entertainment... cafe, squatting videos, and an open acoustic mike session (bring songs, poems, stories)

The whole night is billed as a benefit for the Advisory Service for Squatters which has been running a long long time to help make squatting as accesible and safe for everyone as is possible.

This is to be a particularly special night of celebration with accoustic fun and much much more.

Friday 28th April 7pm - 1am.
