Rally for freedom for Vanunu - Wed 19th April

Oxford PSc | 13.04.2006 11:53 | Anti-militarism | Repression | Oxford

The Vanunu Freedom Bike Ride from Faslane to London will arrive in Oxford on Wendesday April 19th.

To support the cyclists, and draw attention to the continued draconian restrictions placed on Mordechai Vanunu by the Israeli Government and his upcoming trial, there will be a rally starting in Broad Street at 5pm. The main speaker will be Bruce Kent (formally CND). This will be followed by a bike cavalcade round central Oxford. All Welcome. Bring a bike if you have one.

The rally will be followed by an evening event at the Friends Meeting House. Anyone interested in attending the evening event should contact Kathy Van Praag at kvanpraag [at] mac.com.
