George Galloway gagged by News International over Fake Sheikh

British Freedom to Publish | 04.04.2006 21:31 | London

A 24 hour injunction was placed on George Galloway by the courts this afternoon on publishing pictures already in the public domain after the 'Fake Sheikh' Mahzer Mahmood tried to suborn the Respect MP last week.

Who is the 'Fake Sheikh'?
Who is the 'Fake Sheikh'?

George Galloway last week stated that he was approached by the News of the World reporter, Mazher Mahmood in disguise, where he allegedly tried to entrap the Respect MP with promise of illicit funding for Respect.

He also allegedly tried to get George Galloway to join in with anti-semitic remarks at the expense of Jewish people and complained to the MP that people could not criticise the holocaust for instance.

George Galloway, recognising the bodyguard and driver and noted that this "muslim" had no beard smelt a rat and promised to expose them in the public eye for trying to suborn a Member of Parliament.

Earlier on, Respects main site and George's own website had the pictures of the 'Fake Sheikh' but due to the hastily attained injunction, had to come down again until 4PM tomorrow.

However, the main sepia picture is a picture that has long been in the public domain, the website albanianmail.co.uk has not only the black and white picture but others of Mahmood as well.

There is a website that has managed to extract the pictures hosted outside of the UK law, so you can see his pictures there if you want.

Please support George, he supports so many people, so many causes, to fall foul of a scheme like this is gutter journalism by the News International people, the very worst of journalism in fact but also a blatant robbery of our freedom of the press.

Mahmood himself in interviews with Time and other publications boasts quite freely about buying illegal drugs to facilitate many of his "stings", why is he exempt from the law, is it that Murdoch owns our judiciary already...?

Perhaps his victims would have been happier if they thought the law was a fair thing, it doesn't apply to News of the World journalists even when they buy Cocaine.

Dear readers,

It is no suprise to see that George Galloway could spot a rat coming from a mile off, each species knows their own. Yes too much of our media is controlled by people like Mr Murdoch and his News International minions, but Mr Galloway is a terrible representative of his people and a disgrace of an MP, the sooner the left forgets him and find someone who does command some Respect (pun intended) the better.

Regards

Nick

'If this fall into thy hand, revolve. In my stars I am above thee; but be not afraid of greatness: some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon 'em. Thy Fates open their hands; let thy blood and spirit embrace them; and, to inure thyself to what thou art like to be, cast thy humble slough and appear fresh. Be opposite with a kinsman, surly with servants; let thy tongue tang arguments of state; put thyself into the trick of singularity: she thus advises thee that sighs for thee. Remember who commended thy yellow stockings, and wished to see thee ever cross-gartered: I say, remember. Go to, thou art made, if thou desirest to be so; if not, let me see thee a steward still, the fellow of servants, and not worthy to touch Fortune's fingers. Farewell. She that would alter services with thee, THE FORTUNATE-UNHAPPY.''

Galloway : not great, not humble, nor fresh but certainly opposite with kinsmen and surly with servants, and his tongue certainly tangs with the arguments of state.

The oaf cast him self out when he set off for celebrity~ville with his fellow 'stars above us', let him remain the fortunate-unhappy thing he is.

Latest news: Galloway has been Murdoch AGAIN. The court has refused News International the right to protect the identity of the scum-bag that is the 'fake sheikh'.

Well done George - you are a truly principled man!
