Manchester based environmental group 'Action for Sustainable Living' will be holding a sustainable fashion show on tuesday 4th April, 7 -9pm at Bridgewater Hall
Bridgewater Hall at 7pm on Tuesday 4th April is the place to be for anyone interested in how the clothing industry might be made more friendly to workers and the environment. It will be a chance to view a showcase of the latest products from both local and national designers in the field of recycled (second hand or reconditioned material), eco-friendly (hemp, organic, vegan) and fairly traded clothing (FT registered or ethical co-ops). There will also be a clothing swapshop and displays from local artists. Tickets cost £7 advance or £8 on the door, with a £2 discount for anyone bringing 2kg of clothing for the swapshop.
