Gurgoan Call Center Employee looted the customers

A Gurgoan Based call center employee used the company's condidential information. He breached the company's network security and access the server from his new Delhi residence. CEO Priyank Verma who repotred this incident is in question for not taking any legal action against him earlier. Company like to pay US$ 1 million as compensation.
March 27, 2006: An upcoming Gurgoan based call center employee breached the company's computer security network and looted the UK people with thousands of pounds. Also, he used the company's server to send spam emails to people. The news comes into light when the CEO of the company Mr. Priyank Verma asked for the investigation regarding this breach and the case has been filed in the local police station. When enquired to Mr. Verma, who is also a well known software engineer and is known to be the best in network security, about this intruder attack on his own company's server and how he came to know about this, he replied that someone very close to him informed him about this breach when that person was harrased by the intruder but he refused to reveal any further information regarding that person. The emplyee who joined the center in the month of June, got fired from the company as he was caught taking out company's confidential information out of the company. But no legal action was taken against him at that time. This guy accessed the company's computer from his home by using the VNC software as he is well aware of the IP's and company's network and do the online shopping using other peoples credit cards and also send spam emails to various people. When asking Mr. Verma whom he send spam emails, he simply said various people but did not mention any single name. All the clients of the company asked for the explaination from Mr. Verma regardng this issue but he is not commenting anything at present. He said the case has been filed and police are doing their job and assured all his clients that this kind of things will not happen again. If Mr. Verma didn't explained anything soon regarding the same, the company might end up paying US$ 1 million as a fine and may be out of the business. The company which started on January 1, 2005, has been expanded and earned its name in the market very fast and now the company's as well as CEO's Priyank Verma reputaion is at stake. Eevryone is eyeing on Mr. Verma's explaination about this breach.

being an underpaid, overworked call centre agent myself, though, I wish I could do what that guy did. So the company has to pay compensation? So what? I bet they can afford it - after all call centre owners everywhere save costs by not paying us decent salaries, ...
