Ryanairpollution - Biting the hand of the Cheap Flight Monster!

Subvertiser | 27.03.2006 16:07 | Ecology

Michael O'Leary, CEO of Ryanair is on record as saying that he aims to increase his production of carbon dioxide if it means increasing his business.

This is not acceptable.

http://www.ryanairpollution.com is a partner site to  http://www.easyclimatechange.com and  http://www.virginclimate.com. These sites show a more realistic picture of the companies that pedal air transport as an acceptable means of leisure.

Please note : www.ryanairpollution.com only came into being on 25/03 so the previous (hidden) post cannot be a repeat, unless someone from the aircraft industry is on the editorial board (I hope not!) and hiding these posts on purpose.

post some news

Posts containing no articles and just links to other sites are hidden.

If you want to post news about climate change please do.

A one line quote from the CEO of Ryan Air isn't really news either but it's better than previous attempts.

Indymedia isn't intended for adverts so why not actually write an article?

subvertising innit

27.03.2006 18:10

Subverts get carried on the newswire when they're just a picture and this happened here - they speak for themselves. This is a 'virtual' subvert, as we live in the 21st century dontcha know. It's someone actually doing something, rather than an article or opinion or rant which often get covered and for me just clutter up the newswire (but don't get hidden) - note the emphasis on news. This is. Whatever

This is campaigning - it can really make a difference

27.03.2006 20:01

Thanks for taking the time to comment (and thanks for the support Time Waster). News is something that is new and of interest to others.

If spread around this can potentially really rock the industry - an article will not have the same effect, it will just get swamped amongst all the others.

Cheers

Well there is...

27.03.2006 22:16

a difference between somebody posting photos of subverting they have seen on a billboard down the road and somebody posting a link to their new website. A better comparison would be between this post and somebody saying they'd seen a cool subvert and giving the name of the street where you could go and see it.

a difference
