Thames Path dispute (Part 2).

The background to this dispute was given in Part 1, published here on 23-03-06. On the day of the Greenwich Mayor's charity ride, the path was specially opened just for that particular event, after having been closed for two years, and it is to be closed again at 11pm on the same day, probably for a further three years, just to suit the convenience and pocket of the developers of the luxury flats. Representations to the Mayor and Greenwich Council have fallen on deaf ears. Users of the Thames Path and local people obviously have to take second place in this. Furthermore, the property developers can't even be bothered to signpost the difficult diversion they have created.
