About time....some truth

The link above leads to the Lists section of IMC, the part where users are laways refered to when discussing Hiding, Deleting, and the infamous Editorial Guidelines.

The interesting part of this addition by one of the editors is that it makes mention something for which long time IMC users where told could never happen - the complete deleation of posts or comments. I briefly did some work for the site a couple of years ago and I know we were removing posts then and placing them in the password only area so it was always suspicious to read how that never happended and was "technicaly impossible".

Control of the newswire is now contained within a very small group (check out how few people are allowed to edit the posts) and this has been a downward step. The power and benefits of IMC were always in its diversity and broad collective. The secretive, unelected, unaccountable group now running things are routingly deleting posts and comments, this is a fact.
