Today several members of the Nottingham No Widening M1 group went out to Kegworth by the M1 to engage with local people about the M1 widening and informing them of the reasons why we oppose it.
The response from locals was very positive and they expressed interest in our campaign.
Kegworth is important in this as they are being offered a bypass as part of the M1 being widened.

Next meeting of the Nottingham No Widening M1 group in on Monday 13th March, 7.30pm at the Sumac Centre, 245 Gladstone Street, Forest Fields.
