Seeing recent posts on Indymedia UK newswire requesting details of Indymedia funding, and those (inlcusing this one I'm sure) being hidden from view, has prompted me to speak up.
Seeing recent posts on Indymedia UK newswire requesting details of Indymedia funding, and those (inlcusing this one I'm sure) being hidden from view, has prompted me to speak up.
Indymedia has strong connections to Ford and Microsoft, to name a few. The actual list of donations comes from very right wing, very powerful multi billion dollar corporations.
A lot of sites have picked up on this, and expose the truth behind Indymedia.
The Indymedia UK site itself attracts a lot of suspicion due to heavily censorship, with very little explanation.
Many other Indymedia sites have criticised the UK branch, however there has been no official response as the UK editors are allowed to continue molding, twisting and hiding information.
