Save Swallows Wood Campaign are holding a number of exhibitions in the Longdendale and Glossop area during the next few weeks.

Please come along if you can. We will be displaying plans for the Mottram-Tintwistle bypass and other materials relating to pollution, traffic impacts etc. and will be on hand to discuss the impact of the proposed bypass on traffic, pollution, access, and any other issues or concerns you have. We will also have a letter writing stand, information about alternatives such as the HGV ban and re-opening the Woodhead tunnel, and an exhibition of photographs.

Saturday 11th March - Exhibition at Bradbury House, Glossop 1.30pm - 3.30pm
Saturday 18th March - Exhibition at Hadfield Methodist Church, 10.30am-12 noon
Saturday 25th March - Exhibition at St Mary’s Church, Hollingworth 10.30am-12 noon

For residents to the East of the Peak Park, there is a public meeting planned. Details are:

Wednesday 22nd March - Public Meeting at St John's Community Centre, Penistone, 7pm

We will be sending out an Action Alert with guidelines for writing objection letters and information about what to do with your letter in the next few weeks, so watch this space. It's a busy time, but we have to act before the 5th May deadline or it really will be too late.

Thanks for your ongoing support,

Emma and Pat
