Hmmm, Iraq slipping into civil war, violence and heroin production in Afghanistan at it's highest level since the Taliban came into power, the whole world trying to make the biggest distance they can between themselves and US foreign policy, and now we have footage of Bush telling worried disaster officials 'Don't worry, it's all under control', on the eve of Hurricane Katrina.
The US doesn't even know how to look after itself at the moment, let alone bring 'stability' and 'democracy' to the rest of the world.
