Nottingham Student Peace Movement held a day of discussion about global political issues, and what we can do about them on a local level, at the University of Nottinham on Sunday. There was a discussion about the need to 'Overcoming Media Bias'.

There was a discussion about the need to 'Overcoming Media Bias'.
Speakers were:
Prof Richard Keeble (Professor of Journalism at Lincoln Uni, associate of Media Lens)
Dr Meryl Aldridge (Reader in Sociology of Media, Uni of Nottingham)
Wietse (Nottinghamshire Indymedia).
There then followed a discussion on: How can we expose and correct media bias? and how can we develop our own media?
