please could you clarify whether the date intended for this protest is 1st May or whether this is, as stated on website the deadline for pledgers. If this is the deadline, is there any idea of when the protest would take place as otherwise it seems a very difficult thing to get people motivated to join and therefore seems more like rhetoric than an idea for action.

The day of the protest is for the 1st May and so is the deadline, as for the location, it will be reveal nearer time time.
