On Feb 23rd LRT will play host to Heather Rogers, who's just written a book called 'Gone Tomorrow: The Hidden Life of Garbage'. She will show a 20 minute film and lead off a discussion looking into rubbish, consumption, climate chaos, capitalism and whatever else catches our eye.

On Feb 23rd London Rising Tide (LRT) will play host to Heather Rogers, who's just written a book called 'Gone Tomorrow: The Hidden Life of Garbage' (www.gonetomorrow.org). She will show a 20 minute film and lead off a discussion looking into rubbish, consumption, climate chaos, capitalism and whatever else catches our eye.
From 7.30, at London Action Resource Centre (LARC - www.londonarc.org), all welcome. (This will be instead of our usual weekly planning meeting.)

LRT takes direct action on the 'root causes of climate chaos', and is currently juggling commitments to the Camp for Climate Action, the campaign against Shell's County Mayo gas development, against oily sponsorship of the arts (Art Not Oil) and against aviation expansion, with quite a few more issues banging on the door and trying to get an airing.

LRT: c/o LARC, 62 Fieldgate Street, London E1 1ES; (corner of Parfett Street, Whitechapel tube)
