I was once a commited and regular supporter of the Indymedia site in the UK. I posted articles and reports, I spoke at meetings and worked to promote the site.

I am disgusted and appalled at the current policies concerning hiding of articles and comments. I deplore the attempts to eliminate all critical comment and condem the frequent use of the word Troll to catigorise anybody who points out inconsistencies in the imposition of Hiding decisions.

Worst of all is the removal of password access to those who previously had it. This was a unilateral desicion taken without any form of discussion or consultation.
