The horrifying scenes on these pages will shock the world and ignite a huge military scandal.



They were captured on a secret home video — apparently filmed for "fun" by a corporal—and show at least eight of his hulking comrades cruelly:

DRAGGING four weedy rioters—all apparently in their early teens—off the street and behind the high walls of a secluded army compound,

BEATING them senseless with vicious blows from batons, boots and fists,

IGNORING their pitiful pleas for mercy, until the incident climaxes with what appears to be an NCO delivering a sickening full-force kick in the genitals of a cringeing lad pinned to the ground.

Sky TV poll last night showing that over 70% of viewers didn't even think the soldiers should be prosecuted!

As with all TV polls, you wonder whether the voter really understands the question... but if most did that's a pretty sickening inditement of eight years of "Blair's Britain".

As ever the big picture tell s the truth. The FULL video (which has not been released by the News of the World but which they admit does exist) shows what was occuring just before this event. These "defenceles" youths were pelting a British Army Warrier AFV with petrol bombs and then were all seen kicking one soldier as he tried to escape. None of this makes the behaviour of the troops acceptable but does go some way to explain it. The so called commenetry I would think most people have worked out was put on after by the NotW.

Good desicion IM editors, best we don't let the sheep see bill's comments as we don't want them confused with having to try and grasp a bigger view of the world beyond a tabloid "Shock ! Horror ! Probe !" story do we.

Israeli involvement ?

As shocking as this story is I feel it lacks the prime ingredient for a really good IM story, Jewish involvement. Could anybody perhaps come up with some tenuous link to say Mossad or perhaps a fictious Israeli "security operation".

Were any of the British soldiers Jewish (or had Jewish names) ? A little more effort here and we could have the usual IM smeer. Remember when making reference to Jews always use the word "Zionist" to hide our anti-semitism.

I don't think anybody will be shocked by that video, we all know that is a normal practise, only that usually they are clever enough not to film abuse.

Nothing will happen appart from "open an inquiry" as it is done when something needs to be cool down, just open and inquiry and you will be fine.
