Details emerged last night of a shocking video which shows a group of British soldiers brutally beating and kicking defenceless Iraqi teenagers in an army compound.

The footage show eight soldiers pulling four teenagers off the street and dragging them into their army base, before beating them with batons, as well as punching and kicking them.

"Defenseless" teenagers who had been attacking their base with inter alia explosive devices. And why don't you mention that the source of this story is the News of the World, Mr Murdoch's august publication? Credit where credit is due, I'm sure you'll agree...

And, à propos, why no mention here of the bisexual premiershit players?

Rupert Murdoch

Really?

No - how shocking! We all know what the MSM do. They could have had bombs dropped on their heads or shot - (remember that 'British' contractor video, anyone?) - aren't they evil!

Tungridge Wells (disgusted, of...)

Why now?

The video was recorded in 2004, but it’s only been released now just after Muslim anger at the cartoons has died down? Coincidence? Or are the NOTW attempting to stir things up again?

Culture of Violence

13.02.2006 16:18

This is what happens when young men are trained in the culture of violence - how many more times has this happened without being filmed? - the establishment want to brush it away as an 'aberration' but it is what we have come to expect from well armed and trained people who like to wear uniforms when they think know-one is watching - it is FUN to them - they are trained to be violent and respect violence listen, to the commentary - they are a gang of cowards who beat the defenceless -see what happened at DeepCut - and the naked soldiers beating each other unconscious while their officers encourage them - the British Army is no diferent to any other standing army in the world - watch now as the brass wriggles and twists itself into a frenzy of denial that this is what these men are TRAINED to do - Cowards and hypocrits the lot of them

abuse = bullshit.

They seem to be pretty lack lustre in striking them too in the video. More a a beat down then a brutal assault on 'innocent' iraqis. Lets not forget minutes earliar those iraqis were throwing improvised explosive devices and bricks at soldiers in the street. They deserved a good beating. Might make them think twice about doing it again and 100times less severe then gunning them down (israeli tactic for dealing with stone throwers).

one kick in the nads and a fucking blow to the back of the legs with a stick and people start shouting war crimes... whatever next.

a war crime in a criminal war

Those children were only throwing stones, as the full video that was released tonight shows. There was a single mortar attack on the courtyard of the English compound, drawing English soldiers out to patrol. Upon charging local kids who threw rocks in self-defence, they brought several stone-throwing children back to the compound and beat them sadistacally and mercilessly. It is a war-crime and should be tried at the Hague, as should the camera-man and all who condoe such behaviour. The UK is a signatory to the ICC. Unfortunately international law is little better than domestic law, and far less relevant to the occupier.
